Size guide
A tennis bracelet looks best with a close fit: it should sit near your wrist without pinching. Measuring takes about two minutes.
Step 1: Measure your wrist
Measure the wrist you'll wear the bracelet on, just below the wrist bone, where a bracelet naturally sits.
With a soft tape measure
- Wrap the tape around your wrist just below the wrist bone.
- Keep it snug against your skin, but not tight.
- Read the measurement in inches (or centimeters). This is your snug wrist size.
With a strip of paper or string
- Cut a strip of paper about 0.5 in wide, or use a piece of string that doesn't stretch.
- Wrap it around your wrist just below the wrist bone, snug but not tight.
- Mark the spot where the end overlaps the strip.
- Lay it flat along a ruler and measure from the end to your mark, in inches.
Step 2: Add about 0.5 in
For a close fit, add about 0.5 in (about 1.3 cm) to your snug wrist size. That's your bracelet length. If you like a looser drape, add closer to 1 in.
Size chart
We offer four lengths, each measured end to end with the clasp included.
| Bracelet length | Snug wrist size (close fit) |
|---|---|
| 6.5 in (16.5 cm) | About 5.75-6.25 in (14.6-15.9 cm) |
| 7.1 in (18 cm), the most common length | About 6.25-6.75 in (15.9-17.1 cm) |
| 7.5 in (19 cm) | About 6.75-7.25 in (17.1-18.4 cm) |
| 7.9 in (20 cm) | About 7.25-7.5 in (18.4-19.1 cm) |
For example, if your snug wrist size is 6.5 in (16.5 cm), choose the 7.1 in (18 cm) bracelet.
If you're between sizes or right on a line
If your measurement falls on the line between two rows (for example, exactly 6.25 in), go up to the longer length. Do the same if you're unsure which row you're in. A slightly roomy tennis bracelet is comfortable and still looks lovely, while one that's too tight presses on your wrist and strains the clasp.
If your wrist measures more than about 7.5 in (19.1 cm), please email us your measurement before you order. Our longest length (7.9 in) may be too snug, and we don't offer a longer length or an extender right now. If your wrist is under about 5.75 in (14.6 cm), the 6.5 in bracelet will sit a little loose.
Buying it as a gift?
- Borrow a bracelet she already wears and likes the fit of. Lay it flat, measure it end to end with the clasp included, and choose the closest length.
- If you have no way to measure, 7.1 in is the most common length.
- With our Gift two offer, you can choose a different length for each bracelet.
- If it doesn't fit, it can be returned unworn in its original packaging within 30 days of delivery. Trying it on to check the fit is fine, as long as it stays clean and in its box. You cover return shipping. See our refund policy.
If you're still unsure, email hello@quietsparkjewelry.com with your wrist measurement and we'll help you choose. We reply within 1 business day, Monday to Friday.
