- Stones: lab-grown moissanite, 2mm round brilliant cut, single row, 4-prong settings. Color D-E (colorless), VVS clarity, as graded by our supplier.

About moissanite
Moissanite is a gemstone made of silicon carbide. Ours is lab-grown, and it isn't a diamond.
It rates about 9.25 on the Mohs hardness scale (diamond is 10), so it handles everyday wear. Its refractive index is about 2.65 (diamond is about 2.42), and its dispersion is about 0.104 (diamond is about 0.044). That higher dispersion is why lab-grown moissanite shows more rainbow fire than diamond.
Grading
The color and clarity grades come from our supplier, and the supplier's grading card is in the box. It isn't an independent lab report.
About diamond testers
Lab-grown moissanite conducts heat much like diamond, so many basic thermal "diamond tester" pens beep for it. Your bracelet is still lab-grown moissanite, and a multi-tester can tell the two apart.
How to measure
- Wrap a soft tape measure, or a strip of paper, snugly around your wrist just below the wrist bone, where a bracelet naturally sits.
- Mark where it meets, then measure the paper with a ruler.
- Add about 0.5 in for a close fit.
Which length
- Wrist up to about 6 in: 6.5 in (16.5 cm)
- Wrist about 6.5 in: 7.1 in (18 cm)
- Wrist about 7 in: 7.5 in (19 cm)
- Wrist about 7.4 in: 7.9 in (20 cm)

- Take it off before swimming, bathing, the gym or cleaning. Chlorine and household cleaners are hard on silver.
- Put it on after lotion, perfume and hairspray.
- To clean: soak for a few minutes in warm water with a drop of mild dish soap, brush gently with a soft toothbrush, rinse, and pat dry with a soft cloth.
- Skip ultrasonic cleaners and silver dips. Small prong settings last longest with gentle care.
- Store it in its gift box, away from other jewelry, so it doesn't tangle or scratch softer pieces.
- Sterling silver can darken over time with air and moisture. A silver polishing cloth brings back the shine. Rhodium plating slows this down but can wear with time.
- Check the clasp and safety latch now and then. If anything feels loose, email hello@quietsparkjewelry.com.

Lab-grown moissanite isn't a diamond. It's a gemstone of its own, with more colorful fire than diamond. The stones are small and delicate, so the bracelet sits close to the wrist and goes with a sweater as easily as a dinner dress.
A single row of 2mm stones keeps it low and easy to wear next to a watch. Lab-grown moissanite splits light into more flashes of rainbow color than diamond does, and at about 9.25 on the Mohs hardness scale (diamond is 10), the stones hold up well to daily wear. The setting is 925 sterling silver with rhodium plating for a bright white finish, and a box clasp with a safety latch keeps it closed.
